Tomorrow, January 24, the Ryazan region is expected to see a drop in the average daily temperature of 5 or more degrees Celsius (9°F or more) compared to today. The regional Ministry of Emergency Situations issued an emergency warning.
The authorities also reminded residents of safety precautions during such weather: avoid standing under advertising structures, house roofs, power lines, and trees, and limit time spent outdoors. In the event of a power outage, do not use open flames for lighting.
