Nikita Kologrivy wins Golden Eagle for Best Actor

The film is based on the novel by Vladimir Bogomolov
Three actors — Sergey Bezrukov, Pavel Tabakov, and Novosibirsk native Nikita Kologrivy — have won the Golden Eagle Award for Best Actor this year. This was announced by the film award«s press service on its Telegram channel.
They were awarded for their roles in the film «August» directed by Nikita Vysotsky and Ilya Lebedev.
The film is based on Vladimir Bogomolov«s novel »The Moment of Truth« and tells about the events of August 1944 in the liberated territory of Belarus, where Soviet troops are opposed by saboteurs. The film also won the award for Best Feature Film.
Nikita Kologrivy played Senior Lieutenant Yevgeny Tamantsev — a counterintelligence officer of SMERSH.
