Naked Beauty: Alluring Female Bodies at Nizhny's Art Mir Exhibition

The artist«s work appears to draw inspiration from ancient statues.
The ninth Art Mir (Art World) exhibition (0+) has opened in Nizhny Novgorod. It has brought together several hundred artists from various cities and countries, each with their own vision of beauty. Traditionally, many works are dedicated to the beauty of the female body and the aesthetics of nudity. NN.RU photojournalist Natalia Burukhina walked through the pavilions of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair and captured the most vibrant and stirring canvases.
The diversity of works in the nude style is truly impressive. Nude bodies are presented in realistic portraits and abstract paintings, in sculptures of absolutely different types, and even in works imitating Soviet propaganda posters.
The exhibition also features biblical themes: several works are dedicated to the images of Adam and Eve. Some artists were inspired by ancient art when depicting women, others turned to the Middle Ages.
In many works, women are depicted in everyday situations, in moments of peace and complete tranquility.
