The play begins in the foyer, where artists dance among the guests. The action then continues in the auditorium. Online, people praise the costumes, decorations, and musical accompaniment, which is provided by the Kuban Symphony Orchestra.

Many note that the theater fulfilled their long-standing dream — to see in person that very ball of Natasha Rostova from Leo Tolstoy«s »War and Peace.« Also, viewers compare what happens on stage with the popular series »Bridgerton« (18+), which is set in 19th-century England.

«The action is focused on only one scene — the ball, which becomes a place of birth and collapse of hopes, intersection of people and destinies. And at the same time, the ball is a beautiful romantic story of first love, solemn, exciting, and a little joyful. The play incorporates features of immersive theater and theater installation,» said the Krasnodar Musical Theater Association (KMTA) «Premiera.»

The play involves artists from the Youth Theater, the Musical Show Theater «Premiera,» and the Kuban Symphony Orchestra. The director and choreographer is Irina Tkachenko. The duration of the ball is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Address: Palace of Arts at 175 Stasova Street.

The theater«s website says that a dress code for viewers is not mandatory but is welcome.

Next time, «Natasha Rostova»s First Ball« will be shown on 17, 18, and 19 April. Ticket prices start at 400 rubles (about $4 at current rates). Seats closer to the stage are more expensive — 1500 rubles (about $17), but most of them are already sold out.

Earlier, 93.RU wrote about which stars will come to Krasnodar in 2026 and how much the tickets cost.
