Farewell to Honored Artist Olga Chipovskaya announced

The farewell ceremony for Honored Artist of Russia Olga Chipovskaya will take place on 9 February at the Yevgeny Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre, theatre director Kirill Krok reported.
«The farewell for Olga Yevgenyevna will take place on Monday, 9 February, in the Big Portrait Foyer of our theatre. It will begin at 10:00 AM,» the theatre head said.
The actress died at the age of 67; the cause of death has not been disclosed.
Olga Chipovskaya served at her home Vakhtangov Theatre for 46 years. She first appeared on stage as a student at the Boris Shchukin Theatre School.
Subsequently, she played Adelm («Princess Turandot»), Mimi («Three Ages of Casanova»), Gabrielle («Old Russian Vaudevilles»), Veselkina («Barbarians») and many other roles.
Olga Chipovskaya was married to People«s Artist of Russia and musician Boris Furmkyn. They had a daughter, Anna, who followed in her mother»s footsteps and became an actress — you may know her from numerous roles in film and theatre.
