Yelan mother demonstrates killing infant daughter in video
Anastasia appeared in court behind bars, looking very young and unlike a mother of an infant.
Law enforcement officials showed footage from investigative actions and verification of testimony, where a young mother from Yelan, Anastasia Yashenkova, demonstrates on a doll how she killed her own two-month-old daughter. That day, the two-month-old girl was crying a lot, and the young woman couldn«t control her anger and threw her on the sofa. You can watch how it happened in the video above.
Footage from the investigative procedures was released by law enforcement authorities.
On November 7, the court sentenced Anastasia. She was given 9 years of imprisonment to be served in a general regime correctional colony, with restriction of freedom for 1 year and 6 months.
The tragedy itself occurred on June 25, 2025. That day, the two-month-old girl was crying a lot, and Anastasia was angry because she couldn«t calm her daughter down. Danil was at home but soon left for work, and then received an SMS from his wife with the words: »I threw the baby on the sofa, I«m a terrible mother, forgive me and goodbye.» The serviceman immediately rushed home from work, called an ambulance and the police, but they couldn«t save the child.
After the murder, Anastasia fled to the bus station. All this time she was writing messages to her husband — and he persuaded her to surrender to law enforcement.
