Yakutsk Man Who Stabbed Partner Seeks to Join SMO
The man who stabbed his partner with a knife in broad daylight in the 203rd microdistrict of Yakutsk could go to the SMO zone. This was reported to a 14.RU correspondent by the press service of the Yakutsk City Court.
The last court hearing took place on 6 July 2026, during which he expressed a desire to go to the combat zone. According to the case card on the court«s website, proceedings in the case were suspended the same day.
Recall that the incident occurred on 21 May in one of the houses in the microdistrict. It is known that the conflict began while drinking alcohol. The man«s partner ran out of the house, received several stab wounds in the stairwell and on the street — all of this was captured on surveillance cameras. Witnesses called the police and an ambulance.
The man was immediately taken into custody and later sent to pre-trial detention. It is known that he has a criminal record. The woman was hospitalized and survived. Five children were sent to a social rehabilitation facility.
