Witness Recounts Migrant Stabbing Teen at Bus Stop
A video has surfaced online purportedly showing the bus driver describing the murder scene.
On the evening of January 18, in Elektrostal near Moscow, a 19-year-old migrant stabbed a guy at a bus stop. On Monday, the Investigative Committee (SK) reported that the murder suspect was detained and confessed to everything. Presumably, the bus driver who transported the wounded from the scene shared new details of the tragedy.
The video features a conversation with the man alleged to be the bus driver from the incident.
In a video published on the Telegram channel «Russian Community,» a man with his face hidden explains that at the bus stop, two guys tried to run into the bus. By that time, an altercation was already underway on the street. Then one of the participants in the scuffle hit the other with an object «similar to a knife.»
This clip shows the beginning of the conflict that escalated into the fatal stabbing.
«It felt like they were fleeing from them (the attackers — Ed.). And one of the Russian guys, standing up for another, used a flare gun,» the man says in the video. «Passengers started shouting: »Call 112, a guy is bleeding out there.«»
Footage captures the attack near the bus where the teenager was fatally wounded.
According to the man, at the ambulance station, the bus hit a barrier. Then the wounded«s friends carried him out and handed him over to doctors. The still-alive guy was brought to the medical center territory by ambulance — the bus couldn»t drive there.
The man«s face is not visible in the video, and MSK1.RU could not confirm that he is indeed the driver of that bus.
On Monday, media published video of the conflict«s backstory from another bus: there, a group of young people makes grimaces and middle fingers. According to Baza, they were making obscene gestures at a woman. A dark-haired guy in the bus reacted to this. As the Telegram channel indicates, they decided to settle things outside: a fight broke out.
Later, the organization «Russian Community,» citing an acquaintance of the killed, stated that the guys were making gestures at their female friend standing at the bus stop.
In another video, shot in the second bus, it can be seen that a group of guys enters the bus. One of them had a bottle with some drink. At this moment, the murder suspect, 19-year-old Imomali, strikes the guy from behind, who was previously holding his head. After that, something is sprayed from a canister towards Imomali.
Judging by the driver«s words, other people also sided with the migrant in the conflict. Officially, this has not been reported yet. Also, in the two videos, the guy who made the remark in the bus and the detainee are dressed differently: thus, it is unclear exactly how much time passed between the two conflicts.
The murder in Elektrostal became known on Monday, January 19. Then the killer was detained, and online several videos of the scuffle appeared.
