Voronezh Region's Missing Persons Hotspots Named
Police in Voronezh Region registered 3,638 missing person reports last year, with 361 people still unaccounted for, the regional prosecutor's office said on February 3.

Last year, police in Voronezh Region registered 3,638 missing person reports. That is just nine more than the previous year. This was reported on February 3 by the regional prosecutor«s office.
Nearly all missing persons were found — 3,441 people. However, taking into account those missing from previous years, 361 people remain unaccounted for. According to the prosecutor«s office, the highest number of missing persons are in the following districts:
- Voronezh, Levoberezhny District — 39;
- Voronezh, Kominternovsky District — 30;
- Voronezh, Zheleznodorozhny District — 29;
- Liskinsky District — 20.
Last year, 14 criminal cases were opened in the region related to missing persons, three fewer than in 2024.
The supervisory agency noted that as a result of implementing prosecutors« demands, the whereabouts of six missing persons were determined.
