Video Shows Start of Revda Veteran Beating

Video has emerged showing how the conflict began between Revda realtor and repeat offender Anton Cherkasov and SMO veteran Alexey Valeyev, which ended with the latter being beaten. The footage shows a young woman the veteran stood up for. She stands up and leaves after the conflict starts.

We also added the moment after the beating, when Cherkasov accuses Valeyev of provoking his aggression himself.

Cherkasov: Why were you sitting here [acting up]? Just explain to me why you were [showing off]? What didn«t you like, you bitch?

Valeyev: I«m not ***.

C: Why did you fly at me? What didn«t you like?

V: That you«re harassing the girl like that. Well, why?

C: Who are you to her?

V: I«m her acquaintance, a friend.

C: Can you somehow control this situation? Do you have the right to control this situation? Do you or don«t you?

V: She«s a very good acquaintance of mine.

C: Do you have the right to tell me off?

V: She doesn«t like that you»re harassing her like that.

C: Is that your opinion or did she tell you?

V: My opinion.

C: I«ll make you suck *** for real right now, whore ***. I»m not your bro, you *** [of non-traditional orientation]!

After that Cherkasov and his company walk away, but then he comes back and punches Alexey in the face. Then he starts insulting him from a distance and shouts that he«ll »sock him in the ass« if he sees him in that yard again, and that his opponent will be collecting bottles.

To keep the runtime down, we are not publishing another moment, but we consider it useful to voice it for a full understanding of what is happening in Revda. In that video fragment, one of Cherkasov«s friends approaches the beaten Alexey and starts saying that the victim was wrong when he asked Anton not to harass the girl.

Friend: You said: «Who are you?» You came at him. You don«t know the man, why are you tearing your shirt, because you»re an SMO fighter? So what? Do you think everyone owes you or what? [Why] do you behave like that?

Valeyev: Well, why did he touch the girl?

Friend: What«s it to you? Doesn»t the girl have a tongue? If she didn«t like it, she»d say so herself. She«s an adult, she should answer for herself. You decided to butt in without knowing the man.

Anton has now been arrested, charged with hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 213 of the Russian Criminal Code), and faces up to seven years in a penal colony. We have reported what he served time for.

We published video of the conflict in which the attacker first insults and humiliates the veteran, promises to rape and urinate on him, then punches and kicks him several times and hits him with a crutch, and then forces the beaten man to apologize.

The conflict itself began over a girl. The Revda troublemaker was angered that Alexey asked him not to harass her.
