Sochi police seize 1.5 kg marijuana and hashish

The 25-year-old Tomsk man planned to sell the drugs in Sochi.
Police in Sochi seized 1.5 kg of marijuana and hashish from a visitor. A 25-year-old resident of Tomsk was detained on Primorskaya Street. The young man stored the drugs in two apartments, one of which he rented. In the rooms, police found a bag with 1,500 packages, a jar with a lump-like substance, and a box with empty bags and magnets.

The man planned to sell the banned substances in Sochi. The seized items turned out to be hashish and marijuana, with a total weight of over 1.5 kg. A criminal case has been opened under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Russian Criminal Code. The drug dealer faces up to 20 years in prison and has been placed in custody.
