A 44-year-old resident of Gorlovo village in Skopinsky district (Riazan Oblast, Russia) contacted police, saying a drunk acquaintance threatened to kill him with a brick. The suspect, a 50-year-old local, was detained.
According to preliminary information, the 44-year-old man went to the home of his 50-year-old friend to drink. At some point, the alcohol ran out, and the guest demanded more because «his soul demanded it.» The host, who had already provided snacks and drinks, asked him not to be greedy, but he persisted. Eventually, the older friend allegedly grabbed a brick, which he used for household chores, and said he would kill the guest if he didn«t shut up.
A criminal case has been opened against the homeowner, and he faces up to two years in prison, the regional police department reported.
