Schoolgirl interrogated with mother, spent night in custody

Classes were canceled at the school after the incident.
The girl who set the fire and attacked students at Pokrovskaya School spent the entire night in a temporary detention facility (IIVS). This was reported to NGS24.RU by its own source.
An IIVS is a temporary detention center, a place of confinement under territorial internal affairs bodies or border guard agencies.
As previously reported, the girl was interrogated directly at the school. The eighth-grader«s mother was present during the questioning.
According to the regional Investigative Committee (SK), two criminal cases have been opened against her — under Part 1 of Article 238 (for storage of products that do not meet safety requirements — Ed. note) and attempted murder of two or more persons, committed with extreme cruelty and in a manner dangerous to the public.
Recall that the 14-year-old schoolgirl, in the afternoon of 4 February, set fire to a toilet stall on the second floor of the school, and then lit a container of flammable mixture right in the mathematics classroom during a lesson.
After that, she attacked children in the hallway and beat them with a hammer. As a result, five students and one teacher were injured: three children have burns, two girls have injuries. The girl«s motives are not yet entirely clear: information about whether she was bullied by classmates varies.
NGS24.RU is collecting all information about the incident in a special section on its website; earlier we hosted a live broadcast of the events.
What was happening at the school at the moment of the children«s arson is covered in the report by NGS24.RU special correspondent Alexander Ibragimov.
