Scandalous Yekaterinburg Resident Robs Flower Shop with Pistol

In Yekaterinburg, police detained a flower shop robber from Pionersky. On February 1, 47-year-old Yevgeny Ayupov broke into a pavilion at night with a pneumatic pistol. His loot was two bouquets and a plush teddy bear.

«Operatives quickly identified the attacker and detained him on the hot trail. In his apartment on Borovaya, they found the pneumatic pistol he used to get the flowers, as well as a pneumatic rifle. The flowers and plush teddy bear were also in the detainee»s residence,« reported the Yekaterinburg Police Department.

In footage from the pavilion, Yevgeny immediately starts behaving rudely, touching the flowers. When someone tries to reprimand him— he shouts: «Don»t try to cure me! Disappear! If I«m touching, then I know what I»m doing. The torment begins. Don«t make a fool out of me. I want these roses.»

When the bouquets were assembled for him, he pulled out the pistol and declared: «I won»t pay. Hands! On the floor! Lie down quickly! Lie down! I«ll bring the money tomorrow. You can call [the police].»

At the police station, the man no longer behaved so boldly and explained that he needed the flowers and gift to congratulate the daughter of his acquaintance on her birthday. As for the money, according to him, he intended to bring it the next day. The «gangster» also apologized to the female florist and promised to fully compensate for the damage. Police established that the citizen had previously been convicted for non-payment of alimony.

Despite repentance and apologies, a criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Part 2 of Article 162 of the Russian Criminal Code «Robbery with the use of weapons.» Punishment for such a crime can be up to 10 years of imprisonment. The detainee has been placed in custody.

The man was walking an emaciated puppy in the yard and beating it in front of everyone, which was caught on video. Fortunately, Ugolyok was taken by animal rights activists.
