On Friday and during the weekend, police officers in Ryazan and the region conducted comprehensive preventive operations aimed at maintaining public order, monitoring compliance with migration legislation, and identifying and suppressing offenses related to alcohol sales. This was reported by the press service of the regional UMVD (Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs).

In total, over these days, law enforcement officers identified and suppressed 24 violations of migration legislation committed by foreign citizens. During raids in the center of Ryazan, police checked 110 citizens. For instance, on the night from Friday to Saturday on Pochtovaya Street, 27 people were taken to the police station for verification of possible involvement in previously committed crimes. Sixteen administrative protocols were drawn up against them, including for minors being outdoors at night without adult supervision, drinking alcohol in public places, and driving while intoxicated.

Furthermore, two cafes on Pochtovaya Street were found selling alcohol without the required accompanying documents — 16 liters of alcohol were seized. Violations of alcohol retail sale rules were also recorded in a store on Novoselov Street and in cafes on Sobornaya and Gorky streets and at the Yuzhny Industrial Hub — a total of 87 liters of alcohol products were seized. Administrative proceedings have been initiated for all cases, and offenders face large fines.

Additionally, police detained five individuals who were on the federal wanted list for committing various crimes.
