Owner of collapsed shopping center on Pervomayka charged

Entrepreneur Sergey Turkov, the owner of the collapsed shopping center on Pervomayka, has been charged. This was reported by the NGS news agency, citing the prosecutor«s office of Novosibirsk Region.
Sergey Turkov has been accused of providing services that do not meet safety requirements and resulted in the death of a person (clauses «a» and «v» of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Russian Criminal Code). He was detained on January 22.
The second floor of the shopping center collapsed on Naumova Street on the afternoon of January 21. Several people were trapped under the rubble, and one of them died.
