Novomoskovsk Pensioner, 72, Murders Neighbor

The investigation into a murder in Novomoskovsk, Tula Oblast, has been completed. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Tula Oblast (SU SK Rossii).
The perpetrator is a 72-year-old resident of the Sokolniky microdistrict. On December 4, he argued with his neighbor, grabbed a knife, and stabbed him in the chest — the victim died at the scene.
After the incident, law enforcement officers detained the pensioner.
The 72-year-old Tula resident confessed during interrogation and gave testimony. Now all necessary evidence has been gathered, and the case will be sent to the prosecutor’s office.
The pensioner faces up to 15 years in prison for murder.
In Tula, a military conscript who tried to evade military service using forged medical documents will stand trial. Using them, he obtained a diagnosis that should have exempted him from service.
