On January 1, a resident of Tosno in Leningrad Oblast reported to police that her former cohabitant attacked her in the stairwell, bit her on the cheek, took her mobile phone and keys to an Opel Astra car, and drove away in it.

Police went to Moscow and on January 23 detained the man, who turned out to be a 28-year-old unemployed resident of the capital. A criminal case for robbery (Part 2, Article 161 of the Russian Criminal Code) was initiated, and the stolen items were seized from the suspect.

«The Biter has been detained under Article 91 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation,» reports the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast.

Earlier in the Moscow region, another criminal case was initiated involving a bite. That story is much more terrifying — a person died.

As found by MSK1.RU, a woman stole a phone from a convicted resident of Krasnogorsk, and when he caught up with her, she offered oral sex as an apology. The man agreed, but the woman bit him on the genitals, and then he beat her to death.
