Mother kills son in Moscow, claims she sent him to heaven

The mother of a five-year-old boy strangled in Moscow confessed to inflicting fatal injuries, according to the capital«s prosecutor»s office. According to the Telegram channel Baza, the woman strangled her son with a belt, then drowned him in the bathtub, and called the ambulance herself.

Journalists found that the suspect is a 46-year-old native of Yakutia named Alexandra. According to them, in the morning she went to church, then returned and decided to kill her son so that «he would go to heaven.» Probably, the woman has mental disorders.

Officially, such details have not been published.

The murder became known this afternoon. The body was found in an apartment on Brateyskaya Street; the Investigative Committee opened a case under the article on murder of a minor (point «v» of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code). Alexandra will undergo a psychological and psychiatric examination.

Last year, in the Golyanovsky Pond in eastern Moscow, a child«s head was found, who was also killed by his own mother. She confessed to everything she did, but could not explain the reason for committing the crime. The woman was arrested and will be tried.
