Mother kills five-year-old in south Moscow, confesses to murder

In an apartment in Moscow on Bratyevskaya Street, the body of a boy born in 2020 was found with signs of suffocation. Apparently, he was drowned in water, according to the capital«s prosecutor»s office. Preliminary reports indicate that the child«s mother confessed to inflicting fatal injuries on her son.

The woman, born in 1980, will be examined for sanity. A criminal case has been initiated under the article for the murder of a minor (clause «v» part 2 article 105 of the Criminal Code). The investigation is being overseen by the Nagatinskaya Interdistrict Prosecutor«s Office.

Previously, the mother killed two young children in the Irkutsk region and confessed to everything. The bodies were also found in an apartment.

Also, last year, a child«s head was found in the Golyanovsky Pond in eastern Moscow. It turned out that he was killed by his own mother — she confessed to the deed but could not explain the motive. The woman was arrested and will be tried.
