Moscow Court Seals Cases of Volgograd Official and Developer

The Moscow City Court suddenly classified the case of former head of the Department of Economic Policy and Investment of the Volgograd administration, Anna Yeliseyeva. Information about this appeared in the court«s database along with a notice that her preventive measure had been extended.
According to the case file, the hearing on extending the preventive measure for Anna Yeliseyeva, accused of receiving a bribe on an especially large scale, took place the day before in open session. Judge Yelena Kozlova granted the investigation«s request to extend the official»s preventive measure. The decision will come into force on 10 February. At the same time, the case file noted that the court«s ruling on selecting a preventive measure for Ms. Yeliseyeva is classified under Part 5 of Article 15 of the Federal Law «On Ensuring Access to Information on the Activities of Courts in the Russian Federation».
Notably, a secrecy regime was also imposed on the materials of the case of Yelena Guryanova, director of LLC «SZ Meteo Comfort» — her preventive measure was also extended the day before. The rulings of the other defendants in this case — the general director and deputy director of JSC «Privolzhtransstroy», Alexander Gavryuchenkov and Sergey Odinev, as well as Zakhar Reshetnyak — are being prepared for publication.
Recall that earlier the court classified the cases of the head of the Regional Committee for Natural Resources, Alexei Sivokoz, and his two deputies — Irina Panina and Daria Kazankova.
