Life coach arrested for fraud in Yekaterinburg

Daria Aksenova, a life coach arrested in Yekaterinburg on suspicion of fraud involving 8 million rubles, said at the police station that she was simply doing her job. We publish her interview from the temporary detention facility.

«I am involved in psychology, money mindset, and have completed various courses. I studied for a year at the Moscow Institute of Psychology, plus an incomplete higher education in PR and advertising, and also studied additional courses that I bought online. I worked as a psychologist and counseled people,» Daria told police.

In her opinion, the criminal case against her appeared after the client«s father put pressure on her.

«This is not the first incident; she ran away from him. This is all in the correspondence. And now she believes that I fraudulently extracted money from her. But she paid for the work, it»s all documented. I cannot say exactly how much she paid; we have been working with her since last year. She got better, then got worse, because she had a strange relationship with her parents, who pressured her. When that happened, her condition worsened. She is incredibly afraid of them,« the coach claims.

She stated that she is ready to return the money but believes she was simply doing the job.

«We worked; everything was fine,» Daria believes.

In addition to psychological consultations, she conducted rituals with candles on the client.

«I clean the aura with a church candle. You just take it, clean it, and pass it along the contour of the person»s body. It cleans the energy inside. This cannot be confirmed; later the person says by feeling that they feel better,« the detainee said.

Soon the court will decide on a preventive measure for Daria.

«As a result of the actions of the »psychologist,« the Yekaterinburg resident lost about 8 million rubles. Due to financial problems and constant stress, the victim suffered a nervous breakdown.
