Killer of Perm businessman Alexander Lukov arrested
Police in Perm Krai have arrested the hitman who shot dead businessman Alexander Lukov at his own bar in October 2023. The suspect was placed in a pre-trial detention center.

Police have arrested the killer of Perm businessman Alexander Lukov. In October 2023, he was found dead on the porch of his own bar near the Molodezhnaya station. Charges of contract murder were brought against Lukov«s former business partner, and two others were found to be accomplices — one of whom went to fight in the special military operation in 2025.
The arrest was carried out at the suspect«s apartment by police and Rosgvardia.

Alexander Lukov, the owner of a mini-market in the Molodezhny microdistrict, was shot dead in October 2023 — his body was found on the porch of his own bar. According to the investigation, the murder was ordered by his former business partner Ruslan Shardakov, and the accomplices in organizing the crime were father and son Andrei and Roman Shirokov. In March 2025, the younger Shirokov signed a contract and left for the special military operation. 59.RU spoke with the victim«s son, Denis Lukov. He was convinced that the motive for the crime was a dispute between his father and Shardakov over an unfinished building at 23aa Tsymlyanskaya Street. Both entrepreneurs were in court trying to resolve the escalating conflict over ownership rights to that commercial property.
Ruslan Shardakov and Andrei Shirokov pleaded not guilty. During the closing arguments, the prosecutor demanded 19 years in a strict-regime penal colony for each. On 19 December 2025, the verdict was announced: Shardakov was sentenced to 16 years in a strict-regime colony, and Shirokov to 17.
Today, the Perm Krai Police reported that together with the Russian National Guard they arrested the hitman. The man was taken right at his apartment. The department notes that he was in Lukov«s bar, shot the businessman, and then fled the scene.
“Earlier, during operational-search activities, the victim«s business partner was detained on suspicion of involvement in the crime,” the police added. “It was established that the man decided to kill the victim to gain control over the business and the distribution of income from commercial activities. To this end, the suspect offered his acquaintance a monetary reward to organize the murder of the businessman, to which the latter agreed.”
The man is charged with murder for hire and illegal possession of firearms. He has been placed in custody.
