In Novosibirsk Oblast, a criminal case has been opened over the partial collapse of roof structures at a school in the village of Repyevo, Toguchinsky District.
The incident occurred this morning, 5 February. No one was injured.
«At present, an investigative team has traveled to the scene. A forensic construction examination will be ordered for the criminal case, which will establish the causes of the collapse. All necessary documentation has been seized from the educational institution,» the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) reported.
The Prosecutor’s Office of the Toguchinsky District has organized an inspection into the collapse of the school building’s roof.
«The prosecutor’s office will assess the actions of officials responsible for the operation of the building. An investigator from the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Novosibirsk Oblast has opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (negligence),» the prosecutor’s office noted.
The progress and results of the criminal investigation are under the control of the agency.
