Ergaki Founder Tried for Child's Death on Slope
The investigation believes that serious violations were hidden behind the beautiful picture.
The founder of the Ergaki resort in Krasnoyarsk Krai is accused of operating a dangerous slope for years under the guise of a ski resort. A criminal case against entrepreneur Vladimir Veryasov has been submitted to the Yermakovsky District Court.
Veryasov built a full-fledged ski complex in the Yermakovsky District: a cable car, ski and snowboard rentals, instructors, and several trails on the mountain slope. The base was advertised online as a resort, and it had its own website. But, according to the investigation, behind the beautiful picture there were serious violations.
The trails, according to the prosecution, did not comply with GOST standards. Veryasov had no permits or lease agreement for the land where they were laid. Instructors worked without approved rules. And the most terrifying thing — there was no rescue patrol on the slopes at all. No one monitored what was happening to people on the mountain.
Interesting fact: on the resort«s website, the legal entity listed is not LLC »Ergaki«, which is accused of providing improper services, but LLC »UK Ergaki«, which has a completely different founder and general director. However, both organizations, according to the »Kontur.Focus« service, are located in the village of Tanzibey on the territory of the Ergaki resort. Only »UK Ergaki« is in house No. 5, and simply »Ergaki« in house No. 1.
In less than a year, this led to three emergencies involving children.
In March 2024, an 11-year-old child was skiing with an instructor and sustained injuries — classified as causing severe harm to health.
On the evening of February 1, 2025, a 12-year-old boy fell on the slope. He lost consciousness and remained lying on the mountain. The cable car was no longer operating by 5 p.m. — the parents simply could not ascend to the child. They had to call rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM). The boy was found only at 8:25 p.m. — he was still lying unconscious in the same place where he fell.
And the next day, February 2, a tragedy occurred. A 15-year-old girl was descending on skis, crashed into a tree, and died from the injuries sustained.
The investigation believes that all these cases are related to the provision of unsafe services. Veryasov is charged under an article for providing services that do not meet safety requirements and negligently causing a person«s death. Now, the court will examine the circumstances.
Previously, the editorial staff of NGS24.RU reported how in the natural park «Ergaki» (not to be confused with the resort of the same name) a 16-year-old teenager died after a collision with a bear.
