At one of the stores in the village of Lesnoy, a 60-year-old entrepreneur sold alcoholic beverages without a license. For the repeated instance of illegal trade, a criminal case was opened against the woman, according to the regional MVD department.

Police had previously held the woman administratively liable for selling alcohol without a license, but the illegal trade did not stop.

Police found that the alcoholic beverages sold repeatedly by the perpetrator lacked proper documentation, including proof of product quality.

A police investigator initiated a criminal case against the entrepreneur — she faces a fine ranging from 50,000 to 80,000 rubles (approximately $500 to $800 at current rates), or corrective labor for a period of 1 year.
