Denis: Insults Not Enough, They Wronged Me

A Yekaterinburg man with a psychiatric diagnosis who has been terrorizing his communal apartment neighbors for 10 years said he himself is the victim in this situation.

As earlier reported by Victoria Pchelova, Denis Maklyakov publishes her photos and personal data online, accusing her of crimes she did not commit. He creates and distributes videos of the same nature, insults and humiliates his neighbor on social media, and files police reports against her that are repeatedly not confirmed, but nothing can be done to him because of his diagnosis.

According to Denis, he did publish personal data of his neighbor and her daughter online, accused them of crimes, and insulted them under the pseudonym Ivan Sirota, but he feels no regret about it.

“They bullied me, I was alone. I call them swindlers because they block the doors and then my key doesn’t fit. That’s how black raiders operate — to make a person sell their apartment, just drive them out. And they drive out my tenants too. From 2018 to 2021 I endured and accumulated all this, and then I gathered it and put it out,” Denis told E1.RU.

Denis admitted that he makes up criminal nicknames for his foes himself, and that over all these years of conflict, none of them have ever suggested he sell his apartment.

“You see, it’s not done directly. They just create unbearable conditions and force a person to sell their home. I myself used to investigate apartment fraud in the past, so I know about this,” Denis told E1.RU.

As an example, he says that one time he came and couldn’t open the common door (he had installed the lock himself).

“The key just wouldn’t go in. I don’t know what it was. But I am sure it was Pchelova and the second neighbor (died a year and a half ago. — Ed.), a former realtor, who wouldn’t let me in. I consider her a swindler because of her actions. I don’t care whether there are court rulings or not. A person is restricted in their own property, and I am supposed to restrict myself?” the complainant believes.

As evidence of the unbearable conditions being created for him, Denis shows his police reports. For example, seven years ago he accused a neighbor of punching him in the face (no health damage, the neighbor denied everything, charges were dismissed). And six years ago, that neighbors called him a pedophile on social media (the authorship of the neighbors was not confirmed; they believe he might have written such messages himself to further harass them).

In his new videos, Denis includes these reports and accuses the district police officers of conspiring with black realtors.

“The district officers are not interested in investigating. I even wrote to the local deputy, but he ignored me. She [Pchelova] is a hardened person, she presents everything to her advantage. I can’t say exactly how they block the doors, but I am sure of it. She acts subtly, through other people,” Denis insists.

He is not bothered that numerous checks, including polygraph tests, have shown that Victoria did absolutely none of what he accused her of. The woman even filmed videos of him entering his home without hindrance. But what about Victoria’s underage daughter, whose personal data Denis also leaks online and whom he accuses of criminal offenses?

“I latched onto Victoria’s younger daughter because she started setting her against me. She set her daughter on me, and she called me a four-eyes in 2018. Naturally, I reacted. I think that because of them I can’t rent out my apartment, because they say nasty things about me to tenants,” Denis says.
