As reported by 56.RU, on January 6, the previously convicted man from Buzuluk was in his apartment on Gaya Street. He was drunk—Christmas was approaching. His cohabitant, the child«s mother, was also intoxicated and was sleeping at the time of the tragedy. According to the investigation, the man became irritated by the child»s crying and beat him. Then he placed him in the bathtub and held him there until the child stopped showing signs of life.
The press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) stated that the detainee has fully confessed (the case is under the supervision of Alexander Bastrykin), and he was placed in a pre-trial detention center until March 6.
