Criminals arrested for veteran murder after loan request and stabbing
The detainees are 27 and 28 years old
The suspects in the murder of 94-year-old veteran metallurgist and honored rationalizer of Russia Vladimir Dronyaev are 27 and 28 years old, and they have been repeatedly convicted before. This was reported on Monday, February 2, by the regional department of the Investigative Committee and the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The men brutally attacked an elderly person
“According to the investigation, on the afternoon of February 1, the suspects came to the apartment where their acquaintance, a 94-year-old man, lived, with a request to borrow money. After being refused, one of the men struck the victim at least five times on the head with an object, after which the second stabbed him at least seven times in the head and torso,” the Investigative Committee reported. “The pensioner died at the scene from the injuries. The accused fled. The man«s body was discovered by a neighbor.”
And stole money from him
Police promptly detained the suspects. A criminal case has been initiated under the article for murder by a group of persons by prior conspiracy (clause «zh» part 2 article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for 8 to 20 years of imprisonment, or life imprisonment).
