Court places pepper gun attacker under house arrest in Saratov

In Saratov, a 28-year-old man who attacked the driver of trolleybus No. 109 has been placed under house arrest, according to the regional police press service.
Recall that on the morning of January 22, a trolleybus passenger argued with the driver, tried to hit him, and then shot him with a pepper gun. The incident occurred at the intersection of Chapayev and Moskovskaya streets.
The police press service added that the man, in addition to the pepper gun shot, twice fired a flare gun into the cabin and in the direction of the trolleybus driver. In connection with the investigation, the police applied to the court for a preventive measure. As a result, the young man was placed under house arrest.
Police have opened a criminal case against the troublemaker for hooliganism, which carries a sentence of up to seven years in prison.
