The Salavat City Court has issued a verdict in the case of the former director of Cadet School No. 2. According to the Bashkiria prosecutor«s office, the woman was found guilty of fraud and sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.

As established by the court, the woman used her official position to illegally appropriate money from the teachers« payroll fund. In addition, she misappropriated funds allocated to the school for wardrobe maintenance and cleaning of the adjacent territory. As a result, significant material damage was caused to the budget of Salavat.

The woman did not admit her guilt, but the court considered the evidence sufficient and imposed a punishment — 4 years of imprisonment. In addition, the court granted the civil claims of the victims. More than 71,000 rubles (approximately $710 at current rates) were recovered from the former director in their favor, as well as over 400,000 rubles (approximately $4,000 at current rates) — in favor of the Salavat city district.

It should be noted that the verdict has not yet entered into legal force and can be appealed.

Recently, a scandal erupted in one of the schools in Bashkiria — a video captured the moment a teacher beat a student with a belt. There were also complaints about another adult who was suspected of using physical force against a child.
