Armed men open fire, frighten Krasnodar residents
Police have launched an inquiry after residents of the Muzykalny microdistrict in Krasnodar reported armed men firing shots and arguing near a residential complex at around 02:45 on the night of 21 July.

Residents of the Muzykalny microdistrict in Krasnodar have complained about a group of aggressive armed men. According to them, the incident took place on the night of 21 July at around 02:45.

A video posted on social media shows the group gathering near the Svetly residential complex, on the side of Agrokhimicheskaya Street, and loudly arguing with locals. The footage also contains sounds resembling gunshots, and eyewitnesses claim that one of the men was holding an object resembling a pistol.
Police reported that they are conducting a pre-investigation check. The identities of the men in the video are being established; after the inquiry, their actions will be given a legal assessment.
This is far from the first time shots have been fired in the Muzykalny microdistrict. In winter 2025, two Krasnodar residents staged a loud confrontation. They opened fire after one of the participants in the argument smashed a glass bottle against a parked car and shouted “Go on, shoot” to his opponent.
In summer 2024, a shootout occurred at the intersection of Yesenin and Gomelskaya streets. Gunshots were heard and about eight men were seen. Police arrived at the scene. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation opened a criminal case.
