A resident of Arkhangelsk is accused of torturing a woman and a minor girl. According to the investigation, the 49-year-old man beat his cohabitant and her daughter for several years.
It has been established that the accused, while in the city of Arkhangelsk at his place of residence, over a long period from January 1, 2023 to October 11, 2025, systematically beat his cohabitant and her minor daughter, the prosecutor«s office reported.
The man admitted his guilt.
The criminal case has been sent to the Solombalsky District Court. The defendant faces imprisonment for a term of three to seven years.
The prosecutor has also filed a lawsuit for 300,000 rubles (approximately $3,000 at current rates) for compensation of moral damage to the victims.
Recently, a resident of Arkhangelsk Oblast was accused in a similar crime. She beat her stepdaughter.
