77 scissors stabs to head: Tobolsk man kills friend

In Tobolsk, a man in a fit of rage brutally killed his acquaintance. He stabbed him with scissors and finished him off with an axe. The murder occurred several months ago, and the attacker is now set to stand trial.

From the case files, it is known that in November, the men gathered for a drinking party. After getting heavily drunk, one of them recalled old grievances. He grabbed scissors and stabbed the victim at least 77 times in the head — the entire right side from temple to neck was perforated. But even that seemed insufficient. He went for an axe and struck the old friend several more times. The 70-year-old homeowner died instantly.

«A sufficient evidence base has been collected, and the criminal case with the approved indictment has been sent to court for consideration on the merits,» the Investigative Committee said.

This is not the only brutal murder in the region recently. At the end of December, near Tyumen, the dismembered body of a woman was found — her body parts were scattered across the area.
