In Novosibirsk, the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR) opened a criminal case into a murder on Odoyevskogo Street in the Pervomaysky district. The information was released today on the agency’s official Telegram channel.

The victim’s body was discovered under the windows of the high-rise after the fall.

The body of a 24-year-old local was found under the windows of a high-rise building on February 1. Witnesses believed the man died from a fall from a great height. Investigators determined the tragedy was not an accident.
«During the preliminary investigation, it was established that on the evening of February 1, 2026, in an apartment in the Pervomaysky district of Novosibirsk, a group of acquaintances were drinking alcohol. During the party, a conflict arose between two guests, which escalated into a fight. The accused beat the acquaintance and then threw him off the balcony of the apartment on the 15th floor,» the Investigative Committee described the events of February 1.
The 24-year-old man died at the scene.
Police detained the suspected killer; investigators opened a case under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Russian Criminal Code — murder. The accused was arrested pending investigation and faces up to 15 years in prison.
Earlier, NGS reported that a Novosibirsk resident was found guilty of murdering a woman. After killing her, he dismembered her body and threw it into a trash bin.
