Young Ulan-Ude company to repair road to Tuzhi park

The administration of Khiloksky District in Zabaykalsky Krai has selected a contractor to repair the road leading to the village of Ukurik and the land art park «Tuzhi». The contract worth 130.2 million rubles (approximately $1.45 million at current rates) was awarded to InvestStroyProekt LLC from Ulan-Ude, according to the public procurement website.
The estimate states that repairs will be carried out on a 2.2-kilometer access road to Ukurik and a 2.9-kilometer access road to «Tuzhi». The high cost of repairs is attributed to the coefficient for material delivery.
Work must be completed no later than 15 October 2026. According to the schedule, by the end of August the contractor will lay the road base using sand-gravel mix and crushed stone, in September it will lay asphalt concrete pavement, in the first half of October it will grade the shoulders, and then apply road markings.
The warranty period for the completed work will be 8 years.
According to the Kontur.Fokus service, InvestStroyProekt LLC was registered in Ulan-Ude in 2024, and its founder and general director is Yuri Tsyrenov. At the end of 2025, the company«s revenue amounted to 52 million rubles (approximately $577,800 at current rates), net profit — 6.3 million rubles (approximately $70,000 at current rates). The company has little experience in executing state contracts: in 2024, it carried out emergency restoration repairs on a local road in Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky, and in 2025, it maintained a local road and artificial structures in the same city.
The land art park «Tuzhi» was built according to the project of artist and sculptor Dashi Namdakov in 2021 near his native village of Ukurik in Zabaykalsky. Chita.Ru published an interview with Dashi Namdakov about the created park.
