Evening of February 4, owner of the bar «Tikhokhodka» Igor Pylaev reported on his Telegram channel that police officers were sequentially visiting bars on Nekrasova Street in St. Petersburg.
According to Pylaev, the police had already been to the establishments «Zvonok», «Kamorka», «Shuba», and «Midnight». At the bar «Kamorka», they confirmed the police visit and partial confiscation of alcoholic products, without specifying reasons. The bar continued working.
A staff member at «Zvonok» explained that the police were checking technological charts for tinctures and alcohol licenses. «If someone«s documentation on tinctures is not in order, then they are confiscated,» he said. No confiscations occurred at this bar.
The Telegram channel «Polite Bars» had earlier reported about similar raids, focusing on non-factory tinctures and alcohol premixes. The day before, on February 3, inspections took place on Belinskogo Street in St. Petersburg.
Igor Pylaev said that in his bar «Tikhokhodka», police requested the alcohol license, transport invoices, and inspected the preparations. «After which they announced that they would carry out confiscation. The motivation is as follows: lack of correct labels,» wrote the entrepreneur.
He considers the claims unfounded, as in his opinion, there is no clear regulatory standard governing labeling of bar preparations and tinctures. Similar inspections with interest in documentation on tinctures had previously taken place in establishments of the Petrogradsky district.
