Perfume chain Parfum-Lider cuts stores in Tyumen

The Parfum-Lider cosmetics store chain has begun closing its outlets in Tyumen and the Tyumen region.

Stores are being liquidated not only in the regional center but also in Zavodoukovsk and Yalutorovsk. According to open directories, the number of outlets has decreased from approximately eight to three.
The reduction is confirmed by data from the services 2gis and Yandex Maps, as well as the chain«s official website. According to the site, three Parfum-Lider stores and one outlet of the related Marafett network continue to operate in Tyumen.
Parfum-Lider is an Omsk-based company founded by businessman Sergei Kostrik. Its branches are located in many regions of Russia, including Moscow.
According to financial reports for 2024, the chain«s turnover exceeded 6.9 billion rubles (approximately $69 million at current rates), and net profit amounted to about 41 million rubles (approximately $410,000). At the same time, the company»s equity is negative and estimated at -30.9 million rubles (approximately -$309,000).
The closure of the stores came as a surprise to Tyumen shoppers. Some outlets had been operating for nearly a decade. Readers share their impressions: «There was one on Respublika Street, now it»s closed. Opposite «7th Heaven,»« writes one of them. Another adds: »Our Parfum-Lider moved out. It worked for exactly 8 years. Is a crisis starting?«
Representatives of the chain were asked to comment on the situation, but no response has been received.
