Omsk Plant Temporarily Closed Due to Safety Violations

The Soviet District Court suspended the activities of NPO «Zavod Energeticheskogo Armaturostroeniya» (Energy Equipment Manufacturing Plant). The organization violated industrial safety rules. Details were shared by the unified press service of the courts of Omsk Region.
LLC «NPO ZEA» was registered in November 2005. Its sole founder is Tatyana Popova. The company«s main activity is the production of pipeline fittings.
The plant«s revenue in 2024 amounted to 192 million rubles (approximately $2.4 million at current rates), with a net profit of 5.2 million rubles (about $65,000). More recent data has not yet been published.
Violations were found in the steel production foundry. The facility lacked a license for the use of explosive, fire-hazardous, and chemically hazardous production facilities of hazard classes I, II, and III, as well as positive industrial safety expert conclusions.
The plant has been prohibited from operating for the next 90 days. During this time, it must correct the deficiencies.
«Due to the established violations, the legal entity has been held administratively liable in the form of administrative suspension of activities for a period of 90 days. The court preserved the right to carry out work to eliminate the identified violations.»
The court ruling has not yet entered into legal force.
