Limeberry is freeze-dried strawberries (dried at low temperatures), coated in chocolate glaze with lime flavor and color — hence the name. The dessert tastes like strawberries in chocolate.
Passion fruit coated in yogurt chocolate is another sweet item sold by some vendors.

Our colleagues from E1.RU studied the composition and found that 100 grams of limeberry contains about 480 kilocalories. This means that one berry has approximately 120 kcal, equivalent to two medium apples.
Limeberry became a trend after social media users started mass-producing tasting videos. The large size, unusual color, and crunch — everything needed for viral content.
Some Kazan sellers quickly caught the wave and began importing the novelty. Thus, limeberry recently appeared in a tea shop at the Port shopping center and in a small store in Usady. Judging by social media posts, the dessert sells out quite quickly.
A correspondent from 116.RU also found several sellers on free classifieds websites. One seller in Kazan offers a kilogram of limeberry for 2100 rubles (about $23 at current rates). Another, from Nizhnekamsk, sells the dessert for 240 rubles per 100 grams (about $3) — and also offers passion fruit in yogurt chocolate.
