Goose-themed coffee chain to open in Krasnoyarsk

A federal coffee chain built around a goose theme is opening in Krasnoyarsk, according to its website.

According to the chain«s map of coffee shops in Krasnoyarsk, a GUSSI COFFEE location is planned for Pokrovka at 50 Karaulnaya Street. No opening date has been announced yet.

The first GUSSI coffee shop opened in Omsk in 2021, and its advertising face is a goose named Valera.

According to the website, the average check is just over 500 rubles (about $6 at current rates). The chain has 52 franchise coffee shops and 8 company-owned locations, open in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

The franchise section also states that their establishments come in three formats: an intimate coffee shop up to 35 square meters, a breakfast-focused venue up to 75 square meters, and a full-cycle café up to 100 square meters. The building at 50 Karaulnaya Street can accommodate any of these formats.

According to the 2gis.ru service, Krasnoyarsk has 337 coffee shop branches, including Smith, Coffee Klein, Green House, and Kultura.
