The building of the Zarechye furniture factory has been put up for sale in Tyumen. The enterprise survived the post-war years, perestroika, and numerous economic crises, but recently the company«s affairs have been in decline. Since November 2025, the company has been in the process of liquidation. The seller is asking 170 million rubles (about $1.9 million at current rates) for the complex of buildings.
«A large non-residential property complex in the central part of Tyumen, on Bolshaya Zarechnaya Street, is for sale. … An ideal solution for an investor, a production company, or a developer looking for a rare asset in the city,» the sale announcement states.
The main asset is a large capital building with an area of 10,000 square meters. According to the announcement, it can be adapted for production, a modern warehouse, or a logistics hub. The complex also includes a separate historical building of 1,000 square meters, which has the status of a cultural heritage object.
The author of the announcement notes that the seller is ready to close the deal quickly—all the documents for the sale are ready. The price of the factory is 170 million rubles.
Recall that the factory has already seen cutbacks—more than 50 employees were laid off. It also became known that the stores that sold Zarechye furniture are closing. The cutbacks and layoffs were planned in stages. However, later the workers complained that upon dismissal they were cheated and left without money.
