In 2021, while on maternity leave, Yevgenia decided to try making sweets: it all started with marshmallows and «bird»s milk« (a type of soufflé), and eventually led to the creation of »Kladowaya Irisok« (The Toffee Pantry).

The Osipova family—her husband and two sons, aged 2 and 3—actively help her with cooking. The boys are already used to having toffee at home, and they really enjoy watching the preparation and packaging process. Of course, they also ask for sweets.

«If Mark wants a toffee, we give him insulin, show him on the screen and say: «Look, when your sugar drops, I»ll give you a toffee.« Actually, the boys have become quite good at passing by the toffees, they are used to us not hiding sweets, but they always ask if they can take one», says Yevgenia.

See how she juggles a home business, hospital work, blogging, and raising a «sugar» boy in the video above.
