At the Gazpromneft gas station in Yalutorovsk (Tyumen Oblast, Russia), motorists line up even when there is no fuel. People arrive early and wait, without any information from staff about when delivery will come.
The line of cars can stretch along the road for eight kilometers. Despite the lack of fuel, the queue does not disperse.
«The salespeople say it«s unknown whether there will be gasoline or not. But people still stand and take their place in line,» said local resident Svetlana.
According to her, the situation with fuel in the city is tense. «There is no gasoline at any gas station in the city at all. Here it appears occasionally because this is a federal highway. And only here can people fill up,» the woman noted.
When fuel does arrive, waiting in line takes one to two hours. Svetlana fills both her cars — a Lada X-Ray and a Lada Granta — with AI-92 gasoline and tries to use this particular chain because of the most acceptable prices.
