WHSD Night Closures in St. Petersburg, February 4–7

Road works on the Western High-Speed Diameter (WHSD) in St. Petersburg will lead to temporary traffic restrictions from 4 to 7 February. The press service of Magistral Severnoi Stolitsy (Northern Capital Highway) issued the warning.
On the night of 4–5 February, from 23:00 to 6:00, the exit to the Vitebsk interchange from the WHSD will be completely closed for traffic heading south.
From 22:00 on 6 February to 6:00 on 7 February, traffic will be restricted on the following sections:
- entrance to the WHSD from Avtomobilnaya Street heading north;
- entrance to the WHSD from Leninsky Prospekt also heading north.
Additionally, on the night of 7 February, from 0:01 to 6:00, the exit from Vitebsky Prospekt to Shirotnaya Magistral will be closed.
Drivers are advised to take these closures into account when planning routes and to exercise increased caution in work zones. Up-to-date information will be displayed on variable message signs along the highway.
