By the evening of Monday, January 26, traffic was again restricted on a number of streets in central St. Petersburg.

According to the Yandex.Traffic service, around 6:00 p.m., the road congestion level was only 4 points. This is one point lower than the usual indicator for Monday at this time. By 5:30 p.m., traffic jams had reached the standard 5 points.
At the same time, road closures were introduced in the center, near the Admiralty. It was impossible to drive along Admiralteyskaya Embankment and Admiralteysky Prospekt. Congestion formed on several streets:
- Nevsky Prospekt
- Gorokhovaya Street
- Bolshaya and Malaya Morskaya Streets
- Sadovaya Street
The formation of traditional evening traffic jams was just beginning. The heaviest traffic was observed on Sverdlovskaya and Vyborgskaya embankments.
