Traffic on Chernaya Rechka and Pesochnaya Embankments Restricted Until Autumn
Drivers will have to look for detours due to work on utility networks in four districts of the city.

In four districts of St. Petersburg, new traffic restrictions due to the laying and reconstruction of utility networks come into effect from 20 to 22 July.

In Vasileostrovsky District, from 20 July to 4 September and from 11 to 18 September, traffic will be limited on Uralskaya Street from Odoevskogo Street to Dekabristov Lane.

In Krasnogvardeysky District, from 22 July to 4 August, passage along Murinskaya Road from Murinsky Bridge to Piskaryovsky Prospekt will be closed.

In Petrogradsky District, from 22 July to 7 October, Pesochnaya Embankment will be completely closed from Levashovsky Prospekt to Barochnaya Street. This section can be bypassed via Levashovsky and Chkalovsky Prospekts, Karpovka Embankment, Vyazemsky Lane, and Kamennoostrovsky Prospekt.
In Primorsky District, the timing and scheme of restrictions on Chernaya Rechka Embankment have been adjusted. Until 28 July, it will be closed from Shkolnaya Street to Savushkina Street. At the same time, one-way traffic is introduced on Karelsky Lane from Shkolnaya to Savushkina (direction from Shkolnaya to Savushkina). A detour is provided via Shkolnaya Street, Karelsky Lane, Savushkina, Torzhkovskaya, Novosibirskaya streets, and Lanskoye Highway.
