According to reports from drivers, entrances to the Ring Road from Novoselie and Piskarevsky Prospekt are also closed. Because of this, traffic jams began to form on the approaches to the ring, both on the outer and inner rings.

The most serious situation has developed in the south of the city.

  • On Sofia Street, the traffic jam stretches from Petro-Slavyanka to the Ring Road itself.
  • A major traffic jam has formed on Moskovskoye Highway in the direction from the region.
  • Smaller traffic jams have been recorded on Pulkovskoye and Tallinnskoye Highways.

The press service of the Transport Organizer stated that due to the traffic jams, buses on several routes are delayed. This concerns routes No. 179, 192, 196, 197, 254, 324, 326, 330, and 388, which are running 40–50 minutes late.

On January 26, Uprdor warned about possible closures on the section of the Ring Road between Ropshinskoye Highway and Piskarevsky Prospekt on January 27. On the same day, restrictions for freight transport were introduced on this segment. Similar measures are planned on the Kola Highway from St. Petersburg to Kirovsk.
