Rare 'Eleventh' Volga for Sale in Saratov at 1.6 Million Rubles

A car owner in Saratov has listed a rare Volga — the GAZ-3111 — on a popular car sales website. The car has covered 63,000 kilometers over 25 years of daily use, and the price is 1.6 million rubles (about $17,000 at current rates).

The automobile is a limited-edition model — only 400 units were produced. The manufacturer tested many innovations on this model, including new powertrains and safety systems. The car features a 2.5-liter gasoline engine producing 155 horsepower, with many components and sensors sourced from foreign manufacturers. It comes with a five-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive.
According to the owner, the car«s body has been fully treated with an anti-corrosion compound, and the shock absorbers, silent blocks, ball joints, stabilizer bushings, as well as standard maintenance items — oil, brake pads, and rotors — have been replaced. The vehicle has also been fitted with new turn signals, a 140-amp alternator, and a cooling fan.
