The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (J70 series) from 1988 is for sale in Novosibirsk for 1,250,000 rubles (approximately $13,500 at current rates). This model has a history and reputation that will be appreciated by connoisseurs.
The «Hunter» holds a special place in the Land Cruiser lineup and is still valued despite its age. This model has a 3.5-liter diesel engine with 115 horsepower. The mileage is 150,000 kilometers, which might raise questions since the car is 38 years old. The body, judging by the photos, has endured many challenges but has held up well.
«Selling the Hunter in excellent condition, it has been in my hands for 13 years. Everything is done, everything works. I drive it no more than 5 times a year, as the car is for specific needs. 3 sets of tires: winter, summer, and high (mud). Quick, light, convenient tuning. Inside, the cabin is in good condition, two heaters, the car is warm. I»m selling because I have other equipment and I almost don«t use this one, it just sits,» is stated in the advertisement.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado from the late 1980s is one of the early representatives of Toyota«s family of mid-size frame-based SUVs, combining simplicity, durability, and uncompromising off-road capability. Although the official Prado name appeared only in 1990, vehicles from the early and late 1980s, built on the basis of the lightweight version of the Land Cruiser 70 series, are often called predecessors of the model that later became known as the Prado.
The engines in such vehicles are robust inline diesel and gasoline units, known for their longevity and ability to operate in harsh conditions.
Previously, we reported on the sale in Novosibirsk of a modified 1994 Mitsubishi Delica — another off-road icon.
